Stoll has done nothing, he pushes and blocks. Even with his size he has not tried a single move.

The ref tried to give that match away and Stoll still lost. Zero actual attempts at offense. You don't deserve to win if that's how you're going to do it.

I agree with everything you said with the exception of getting out wrestled at 149. Sorensen didn't do enough to get a stall point, but Collica never even touched his leg, and made no real attempt to score. Sorensen out wrestled him in that match, even if it was a pretty sad effort both ways.
That team you just saw is going to get second? They'll have to do much better than that and now throw in no AM and Stoll could have possibly tweaked his knee.
False. Going upper body counts just as much as leg attacks, especially for a HWT. Stoll was working underhooks most of the match.
And then after bashing the ref, that assistant needs to go after John Smith, and while he's distracted, have another assistant come in from behind with another chair.
Then stack both Smith and the ref on a table and have Stoll do a frog splash on them off the scorers table.

I agree with and did not like it when he said it and I don't like it after all these years. Officiating and clock msnagement was sketchy at best. Just wish our boys had put up a better fight. On to the next one...

Agreed. Sick of this 'shoot or doing nothing mentality'. Theres more than one way to wrestle a match, even if its not the most aesthetically pleasing.

Maybe if Shaefer didn't back directly off the mat to get away from the underhooks, he would have done something with them.

Yeah but he's also putting that on everyone else too because they see IOWA, not just Thomas Gilman....and his mouth is writing checks that guys in their lineup physically cannot cash, nor are they expected to (like if he said St. John is good for 50 grand when he's only got 8).....

Agreed...Stoll gets that body lock and it's usually two. Okie State guy backup so much he needed a Safety Beeper. He earned it at the end though.
