Iowa has opened as a one and one half point favorite over Seton Hall. Hope they are right. Go Hawks

Basically getting a handicap because they're at home.

I'd give them about a 30% chance tomorrow. SH is gonna be tough for the youngins. Hope I'm wrong.
Yeah. It should be a fun game to watch regardless. I haven't seen them play yet (SH) so I don't know what to expect.

I bleed Hawkeye basketball....but if I was betting I would have to bet Seton Hall. I can't believe that the Hawks are favored.
I've been looking at the SH team stats on this season. They run about 8 deep. They are going to be a tough test. If anyone was wondering how we would fare against a good tandem of guards, this is it. They have a PF that avgs a double double but he shoots FTs at a 22% clip. That is horribly bad! I'm sending waves of back up forwards to hack-a-shaq that guy. Lol.

Don't see it much in college, but if Seton Hall is in the 1 & 1 at the end of the half or down the stretch of a close game, hack a Delgado might not be a bad strategy. Hawks have about 20 fouls to give on the interior.

This, Seton Hall would be the favorite in a neutral game or road game. Who knows if the line will move at all. The smart money is on Seton Hall.

I think IA will pull a win if Jok has a 25+ pts, Williams has 6+ apg, and with two forwards in either Cook, Wagner, Pemsl, or Uhl has a combination of double digits pts and rebs, with less than 8 turnovers, and played solid D. All these conditions have to be met for IA to pull a W. They can do it because IA has Nikes on, just do it.

Someone mentioned the Marquette game and that could certainly happen if Iowa gets too 3 pointer happy and misses a lot of them. An upperclassmen heavy team like SH won't make many mistakes and will take advantage of lots of missed 3's.

Kid has the best looking form I've ever seen for a 22% shooter. lol

yes, our foul shooting is putrid. I've seen Angel go 0-245, and go 4-4. It's an adventure.

I think the reason for the -2 is due to homecourt. I am not sure Vegas knows about our in experience as much as we do.

After the Iowa football team knocked off Michigan after how they played the week before, I wouldn't bet on any game.

In his defense, 18 and 15 per game can overcome a lot of FT deficiencies. It's the close games at the end where it will bury you.

I expect Seton Hall will post an 8-10 point win tonight. Sure hope I am wrong.

That's my prediction but I have zero faith in my ability to predict this team because I haven't seen them play enough. They could win by 2 or 10/ lose by 2 or 10. I really have no idea. I'm giving the nod to SH because of guard play.

According to sports book review which tracks many online books, it opened at 2.5 and is now at 2. No real movement.

If you click on the Seton Hall v. Iowa game in your link and then click on the Line History, the line in Vegas opened at 1-1/2 and now is at 2. See also http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-basketball/odds/las-vegas/

No major movement but the little movement there has been is in Iowa's direction so far.

Yeah I don't feel good about this game but I can't wait to watch it.

It certainly could happen, but Fran is simply a better coach than Wojo in my humble opinion. That Marquette team REALLY underperformed.
