I like BS's chances in that matchup going forward. He can get out from under and get the shot off.
Sorensen loses 9-8 in final TB. Took Retherford down twice in regulation. Had to give him loads of confidence going forward!
Going to be interesting going forward. Brandon almost knows what it takes...Move his feet and move side to side instead of going forward all the time. He has the equation to get off bottom though
I've been pretty critical of Sorensen the past year or so. He obviously came into tonight's match with a plan and looked very good in executing it. Just a tad short of the goal, but props to him for bringing a fight. This sets the stage for some real entertainment the next 2 months...
If Sorenson wrestles like that every time out watch out. Wow.
I really hope Brandon realizes no one in the country can ride him so he might as well go all out and open the bleep up from here on out.
Kemerer falls to Nolf 9-4. Thought it was a great effort from Kemerer, showcased his awesome defense. Anybody else would've been majored/teched/pinned.
Hard to get on your offense when Nolf is on you like flies on sh*t.

Just dropping by real quick. Dammmnn, Sorenson brought it. I blame him for me drinking too much tonight.
He isn't an offensive juggernaut from his feet at this point in time and it just cost him. Tough environment and opponent for your first collegiate match. I have a feeling he'll be fine

Hall looks like a 165er to me, looks tiny at 174 imo

Edit* I think Meyer is about as big of a 74 pounder as there is. Hard to compare it.
Love to see brooks and nickal rematch... Brooks can compete with him, that was so unfortunate, dang.
Love my Hawks but PSU actually comes to wrestle. Besides the guts of Sorenson, it was just a mismatch of dudes who fight versus those who are running tonwards the showers. Way to go Hawks!
Without the Stoll injury, I'd be feeling more upbeat about our March chances after tonight.
Carton, Gunther and Wilcke all look like potential qualifiers and should improve over the next month.
