Still, thats pretty high. I believe we started 4th last year and then fell when we struggled early in the year. Then losing 2 starters, are 2nd and third leading scorers, one who was 1st team all B1G the last two years, I'd say we got a strong vote. Call it the Clark effect once again.

Yeah I think it's certainly fair early on if anyone has us outside the top 4 of the rankings. We definitely looked like a group searching for its identity outside of Caitlin on Sunday and I have no delusion of that being any different over the course of the first few weeks of the season.

But I will also take any unnecessary, excessive Caitlin Clark hype rankings boost we get, anyway...........
