Gotta love the ISU mention on national radio this morning. Some call in OSU guy said "well who has Alabama beat." The pundits crushed ISU in their comments. They said well OSU beat TCU "but after last night, I mean how good is TCU?" And the other guys says look at Oklahoma. And I thought for sure he would reference the Army OT game. Nope. He says, "and look at OkLahoma, they struggled against ISU. I mean come on, is that national championship caliber?!" ISU is decent this year, but their reputation as a horrible laughable program will always be there which is why it sucks to play their Super Bowl every year.

ISUcc has only scored 70 points in four games played. The next two opponents have at least scored twice that number. Shootouts are not good for ISUcc teams. Predicting next win for the Clowns will be ( or should I say better be) against Kansas on Nov. 3. Right now I only see 3 more wins possible for the Clowns of Ames (Kansas, Kansas State and Incarnate Word).

They will probably be 1-5 after Okie St and WVU (they are probably the best team in the little 12 this year). They can only afford one loss to Texas Tech, Texas, Baylor, and the Kansas sisters. TT and the horns will be tough games for them. The other three are bad, although Kansas is better than they have been. I think they will be 5-6 going into the IW game. If they are 4-7, I want to have an over/under on how many empty seats are in JT that Saturday.

All that matters to clown fans is SOS. I guess when you are isu most teams on your schedule are better than you.
I am sure Pollard can get a waiver from the NCAA to have a “special Bowl” for the top 2 teams with SOS not eligible for a real bowl. In fact I am sure he can convince them to play the game at Drake Stadium after the National Championshp.

Campbell should remain the OC but he should hire a 2nd Oline coach with as bad as they are.
I think the remaining 8 games are winnable. Okie State and WV will be a big challenge, but ISU's defense will give them a shot. I hope the offense comes around. I wonder with a shaky OL if they give Purdy or Mitchell a shot at QB. Noland is more of a drop back guy, but he has no chance.
Disappointing to be 1-3, but not surprised. Lost at Iowa, OU, and TCU, but were in every game.
Time will tell, but any reasonable ISU fan (Im sure people will rip that apart) shouldn't be too disappointed. A lot of season left.

I thought they brought in some kind of OL advisor to teach Manning how to coach the OL before he left. Either way, yes that unit is really bad.
If isu is 4-7 or worse going against IWU, the game should be moved to the Ames High field.
Bottom line is ISU is decent but they always cash paychecks before they earn them.

I still think that ISU is a perfectly good team this year. Their D has been pretty decent ... and their O is still in the process of "transitioning" some ... given all the WRs from last year that they lost ... and it made matters a little more sketchy when Kempt went out and Noland had to lead the team. Noland appears to be a fine QB ... but he's still just a 2nd stringer.

As I’ve said before, ISU could save themselves a lot of time and money by not actually playing games. They win them all anyway despite the scoreboard through a litany of excuses and entitlements. I’ll go ahead and crown them 12-0 this year based on technicalities. Meanwhile we’ll show up and play the games win or lose.

Serious question, how many QBs can Campbell ruin? Lanning. Park. Kempt. Zeb. My God give these kids a break. I get that he's trying to model ISU's program after Iowa's... build up the OL, get a running game, try to compete at the line of scrimmage, which is admirable. But that OL is atrocious, every starting QB he puts out there ends up wrecked in one way or another, man he is seriously destroying these poor kids' futures. Is he going to create a legacy of Allen Lazards? Yikes.

We just don`t have the luxury of playing in the weakest P5 conference by far. Iowa is gift wrapped the B10 West with a win against Wisc in a down year for the Badgers but piss down their leg. Just a reminder that Northwestern lost at home to Akron.

We do have a weak shcedule this year....but we also have many years with one of the hardest schedules in football(even counting the cryhawk game)
