Don't be obtuse. Just last year Iowa played 6 of it's first 7 against teams that played in bowls last year and played 9 games overall against bowl teams.
it is possible that Iowa has had 1 season with a stronger schedule strength since the B12 went to 10 teams but very little chance it is more than that. The West division of the B10 is horribly weak and has very little prospects of getting stronger in the near future. Frankly, it is shameful that Iowa is not winning the West regularly. BTW, the one false start penalty on the 1/2 yard line on the first drive of the game in IC cost the Clones the game. A TD there and ISU wins the game and that doesn`t take into account many other mistakes that wouldn`t have happened with the experience and coaching of a 1st game. I don`t expect many here to understand game prep and coaching, but the ISU staff thrives on it.
If Iowa had a week's worth of film we would've hung 40 on your D. Everyone knows that.
You keep avoiding my question. Did you expect ISU's offense to be so pathetic? And I'll throw another one out... why does Campbell ruin every QB he gets? Seriously. That's some scary stuff. Him leaving Kempt in after he was injured just to try getting that first down against us was brutal, probably extended his injury by weeks. Sad stuff.
B.S. It was a very winnable game and ISU would have won it with ANY experience.
For the love of God. ISU scored 3 points, 7 if they got it into the end zone on the first drive, which is no guarantee. Only in ISU thinking that 7 is greater than 13. You are one dumb MF.

Yes it was, but TCU is significantly better than Iowa. They have the best team speed in the B12 and make Iowa look pedestrian.
I think it's awesome you guys have at least stopped blaming the refs for your weekly losses. Raising the standard.

No, ISU is getting better every week. The reason that ISU fans are frustrated by the loss in IC is it was significantly easier to win than 5 of our first 6 games. Lightning struck twice when we didn`t get game experience.
Yeah Iowa had a hard time with the Ohio State speed last year too. If ISU gave them a game they definitely wouldn’t make Iowa look pedestrian. But you believe whatever you need to.
I think ISU fans are frustrated because they spend all their time whining and complaining. You say Iowa was an easier win to set you up for excuses next week and the week after....cause you will lose them too. Iowa>ISU B1G>B12.....proven on the field...not in the court of whining.
Your coach said the cancelled game had no impact on the Iowa game. But you’re welcome to keep using that excuse as long as you’d like.

The clowns have sucked for the last decade. 3-9 has been common. But sucking for clown fans is ok as long as isu sucks enough to have a high SOS.
Funny, that`s why the lineup on the OL changed from the Iowa game to the OU game. ISU`s games against OU, Akron, and TCU, were all plenty good enough to beat Iowa. We just caught a bad break with the cancellation.
The OL changed because your coach screwed up and moved your LT to C because he had no confidence in your regular C. That has nothing to do with the cancellation, just a bad coaching decision.
