They won the Big 12 tournament 4 times in 6 years. Iowa has only won the Big 10 tournament 2 times in 22 years.

Having essentially one good team doesn’t make a conference tough.
Hawks have won 4 BTT games last 10 years. Haven't beaten a team seeded higher than 9th.

Try actually reading the posts I responded to. It was ridiculously dumb to say a team that won 4 in 6 accomplished nothing and it was only due to a weak conference when they beat Kansas multiple times. Iowa fans who play this card are absolute morons considering The B1G West is undisputedly on a very short list for the worst division in all of NCAA football. Now you are talking about the B1G Ten West in football for reasons that likely only make sense in your head. Whether you are purposely continuing to move the goalposts, are senile, or just incapable of positing coherent arguments, is anyone's guess.

Um the last full season the Big 10 West had 3 teams in the top 15. Pretty good I think but not as smart as you apparently cause that seems pretty good. But I am just a dumb lawyer and not a doctor nor is my IQ over 80.

I can't dog on ISU ... I remember how bad we were under Lick. I have enough up and downs watching Iowa athletics that I can't and won't exert mental energy on another program.
Prohm will be gone at the end of the year ... And they'll hope to bring in a hot-young coach (i.e. like Campbell) to right the ship.
My only comment about ISU basketball is I think they've relied too much on transfers, etc., versus building guys up for a few years. Too much roster turnover ... I honestly can't even name two ISU starters...

I would have trouble naming ISU starters, too.
As for relying on transfers....in years past, particularly under Faultless Fred, the most common thing was to see one, or at most two, transfers playing a key role, but they were really key roles. Niang, Long, Morris, Ejim, Thomas and many other stars were four-year players. I also would make a distinction between the transfers who came in for a single season and those who came in for three.
There is one other difference between the transfers under Fred and those under Prohm: Fred only lost one early to the NBA, if memory serves. At least two Prohm recruits who are doing well in the NBA today would still be at Ames under the old (pre-Fred) rules.

Not sure what clowns shoot for but coming into this season a big ten regular season title and final 4 were the goals, not to get hot 1 weekend before the real tournament. Again, outside a 5 yr Hoiberg stint and a couple nice weekends in KC it's been pretty meh since Mr Natty Light got canned. Could be headed back to the morgan/mcdermott era. Wasn't implying Iowa was great in that span either
