If they lose to TCU though, will they get that many that want to go watch the epic beat that Oklahoma will lay on them?
Will the Hawks have fans for game 1 in October in Kinnick?

I thought the Big 10 dictates the fan attendance and they said no fans all year, did this change?
That is not what Barta indicated. Starting with the idea of 0 fans and may modify later I believe is how it put it in his statement.

They’ve been doing it for decades I doubt much has changedSerious question tho, if ISU gets ripped to shreds by TCU this weekend.... would fans pay money to watch trash?

It's the Big 10. Everything is subject to change
Speaking of TCU, QB Max Duggan, (dealing with a heart issue), is back with the team but will not be the starter.
There is probably 15k delusional enough to believe they could pull off an upset. Even if they are 0-2 losers going in.
Given how well ISU has played OU over the past 3 years and given ISU record in October under Campbell I give them a good shot regardless if they are 1-1 or 0-2.
Iowa could be awful and I would still be in the stands.
I didn't realize he had this issue. I hope he is okay moving forward.
That should be pretty close to the Max weight limit for the stands.
Do they also have the fans move to the back of the stadium right before kickoff? They distribute the weight as they do on airplanes sometimes.
I'd be in the stands too. .
The last two games I knew we were going to get blasted were the Ohio St. and Michigan games. Those ended up being good games
Iowa is only going to allow players families and athletic staff and maybe some "special guests." 1500 Max total. No concessions.
Absolutely no tailgating anywhere on U of I property.
I was thinking back a ways. Like John Cooper and Ohio State coming in and just knowing oh boy this is not gonna be good and it wasn't. It was a damn nice October day that day though. At least for getting our asses kicked it was nice outside.
He replaced the starter and ended up throwing 3 TDs. If TCU started him from the git go they might have won the game.Iowa could be awful and I would still be in the stands.

We don't need the money like the clowns do....Iowa is only going to allow players families and athletic staff and maybe some "special guests." 1500 Max total. No concessions.

Didn't Iowa cut sports too?We don't need the money like the clowns do....
Yes they finally got rid of some moocher before finding out they'd be getting plenty of tv money from football(well...hopefully!)Didn't Iowa cut sports too?
Those ended up being great winning games - all the better! The last two games I knew we were going to get blasted were the Ohio St. and Michigan games. Those ended up being good games
Maybe time to revisit that comment.....I don't. Okie looks like they have the second coming of Mahomes as their QB.
We don't need the money like the clowns do....
So why no ticket sales if they're that desperate?I think the Iowa AD and athletic dept would beg to differ
Hopefully the clowns and other teams will successfully enough put fans in their stadiums the next two werks for the B1G to "revisit" that decision before the first game.So why no ticket sales if they're that desperate?

Were fine either way. Hell I think we had more tv $ than isu did for their entire football revenue last year lolHopefully the clowns and other teams will successfully enough put fans in their stadiums the next two werks for the B1G to "revisit" that decision before the first game.
Have to believe Oklahoma is going to come to Jack Trice with some extra motivation.
I was a kid, but was there in 1973 when they went 0-11. I think that qualifies as awful.Iowa could be awful and I would still be in the stands.
