2/3's of the PSU team would need to come down with severe food poisoning after first round weighins at the NCAA tournament
Quite a bit the way things currently stand. Psu has a pretty firm grasp right now.
Hypothetically speaking, let’s say Drake, Caliendo, AJ, and Steveson wrestles for an individual title on Saturday night. Keep in mind Drake is trying 133 and that’s a tougher weight, Caliendo is great but he can’t beat MM and Levi Haines is an unknown but that has to go to Haines until proven otherwise. On top of that AJ sounds unlikely, Steveson is a very long shot to wrestle again imo.
Psu has four or five guys that you can pencil in on Saturday night baring injury. Hypothetically again, let’s say two of them get injured and their backups are forced into action late in the season. I could see see their backups being high AA’s.
So, what would it take? At this point, a miracle. Iowa does not have enough top of the line firepower to make up the points even if psu does suffer some injuries and Iowa wrestles to seed or outperforms them within the margin of error.
Topping 100 points will be a step in the right direction. Focus on points. Don't worry about the title.

Okey State and Penn State’s planes would have to have a mid air collision. Then it’s a toss up.
Looking at Okie St lineup, I would think we should be favored.
Yep…and then there’s always talk of our incoming recruits potentially being future AAs whereas PSU’s and soon OSU’s incoming recruits are expected to be future champs or finalists. We have to bridge that gap to have a chance.
Tom would have to really, really, really like our guys. Maybe even love our guys.
This, and after that. All of them would have to cultivate a future in fast food or some other unskilled career.
Certain things would need to be made temporarily legal so that certain individuals were unable to participate in the tournament for Penn State, including their head coach.......................
