In the current AP Top 10 there are only two teams that have posted 3 victories over teams in the current poll receiving votes(meaning top 25 and the teams just outside it).

Those two teams are Alabama and Iowa. Iowa beat Pitt/Wisky/Northwestern.

Just thought I would pass that fact along considering fans/various media commenting on Iowa having a soft schedule. Not to mention IF we go to the Big Ten title game we would be playing the #1 team in the nation, would that add to our strength of schedule?:)

How many top 25 teams you have played, may or may not be an accurate measure of SOS. I think the media has focused on the absence of the top 3 teams from the Eastern Division. Of course, we all know that we have no control over that part of the schedule.

Hopefully, if we run the table, it won't make any difference.

This comment won't be true in 5 weeks when most of the top 10 teams have 1 or more battles with other top 10 teams.

While that may be true in a few weeks, ESPN spent much of the Purdue-Nebraska halftime show bagging on Iowa's schedule to date, asserting they have not played anyone. As has been noted in numerous posts, Iowa has had a better schedule in terms of opponent's records than every other team in the Top Ten.
