I see 5-4 Arkansas has 2 votes, wonder which coaches those came from.
Don't let Relish see this. He roundly ridiculed me a couple of weeks ago for saying the two Oklahoma schools would be in or near the Top Ten when ISU played them.Okiestate jumped Iowa, NW and Whiskey both ranked,

Agree. I have no problems with the other teams being ranked ahead of us at this point except for Stanford.I like the part where Stanford -- with 1 loss to a team Iowa beat by 30 points on the road -- is ahead of an undefeated Iowa. That's nifty.
You're right, my bad. It's the AP poll where OSU was ranked behind Iowa.Okie State was 10th in Coaches poll last week and we were 11. They didn't jump us, they jumped Stanford and Notre Dame.

Yet they build a strength of schedule around those preseason rankings.. It's absolutely crapKind of interesting that 4 teams in the top ten weren't even ranked in the preseason poll. Shows you how pointless the preseason polls are.
Not pointless; counterproductive.Kind of interesting that 4 teams in the top ten weren't even ranked in the preseason poll. Shows you how pointless the preseason polls are.
