Needing my Hawkeye football fix today I took to YouTube and started watching a replay of the #1 vs #2 game. I've only ever seen clips and highlights and never watch the full game as I was only 2years old when the game was played. At this point I am about half way through the 2nd quarter and here are my thoughts:
- the size of the lines. Iowas online was all 6-2/6-3 and 250-260.
-jay norvell is all over the field
-crowd noise penalty. I know it's been talked about how harbaugh was constantly whining about the crowd noise, but I didn't know a penalty could be called on the defense if the crowd didn't quiet down. Really weird.
- happel has been carbon copied in the form of the meerkat Matt vandeberg.
-helverson definitely had a foot down and that should have been a touchdown.
