Hi all,

I just received an email from Journeyman Wrestling. Seems like there are a ton of available seats for the duals taking place in St Charles, MO on December 6th. Hope to see some of you fellas there!

We currently have 500 paid spectators for the Iowa vs. Army and Princeton double dual, which falls well short of our goal of 2,500 attendees. Securing top-tier programs to wrestle off-campus is no easy feat, and for it to continue being an option, it needs to be a viable opportunity for the teams. Filling the seats is the minimum expectation they look at when deciding to participate.

We’d greatly appreciate your support in helping us build momentum for December 6! Group sales are available for teams bringing 15 or more people. Let’s showcase the strength of our wrestling community and make this an unforgettable event!

Maybe I am missing something, but why is it being held here? Is it someone's hometown?

I read they are doing different things in states that don’t have a ton of wrestling to get exposure. I would’ve rather seen Virginia Tech or somebody different.

Not really her hometown, but it's 1.5 hours away from my mom. That being said:

Since my kid is apparently transferring school's she wanted the opportunity to watch her favorite grandson wrestle closer to home. (couldn't help myself, the one about Rutgers is still funny as hell! It should also be noted that Gabe is NOT EVEN CLOSE to mom's favorite grandkid. He's got a little catching up to get to that title.... but she really does love them all the same. Even those without NCAA, world-titles, and OLY medals)

I actually love that it's in STL. We'll be making the drive to cheer on our boys! Looking forward to seeing old friends and foes from my old Missouri life. Many fond memories of Francis Howell. My roommate at Mizzou grew up wrestling there and they've historically been very supportive of wrestling.

Hope to see some of ya'll in attendance.

No hawks from here. I think the Howell coach wrestled at Mizzou. When I spoke to him, he was hoping to get Spencer down here for a clinic, but he was already booked...

Princeton has a junior 141 pounder from a high rent area in St. Louis called Ladue.

Looks like a kid from Pella (Freshman) on the Army roster. (Jackson Van Kley)

OK, someone help out a stupid old man and tell me how to get Fight Pass. I've been all over UFC and ESPN sites and can't find anything about it. Also, give me an idea of what it costs so I know whether to keep trying.

I plan on coming over from Kansas City on Friday. Does anybody else know if there’s a place picked for a pre-meet?
Restaurant called "Syberg's" wouldn't be a bad place. (family/sports type place) It is in a nearby burb called Chesterfield (high rent district)

Address: 17416 Chesterfield Airport Rd.

12 min. drive from the high school. I'll try to be there by 3:30ish...

Scott Schatzman was from Chesterfield…
His dad had a heart attack in Carver during the Northwestern dual.

If you are going to have a heart attack, not the worst place to have one.

His heart had stopped but was revived and I believe he is still with us today.

This reminds me of when I was trying to watch a show on Paramount. I looked ALL OVER Netflix and Max and couldn’t find the damn thing.

That happened a few rows in front of us. There was a cardiologist there in a few seconds. I think he was in the next section, four or five seats away. I saw Mr. Schatzman at the B1G tournament a couple of months later and told him I was glad to see him there.

Phil,
Let me know if you hear the "H-O-W"..."E-L-L" chant. Remember those guys and "Bunnies" chanting every year at the Hearnes?

Come on. A guy who can throw a cow catcher in on someone from the standing position while that guy is in on a leg can do most anything. Which reminds me, I got to go back and watch that 25 second match to get to feeling right. Get well JT, get well soon.

Funny thing about the "bunnies". I used to "see" the head coach's daughter my senior year. They made me an "honorary" bunny. . . . .

I may be a little slow, just sign in to UCF fight pass? I have Fubo, is that a channel or do I need the app on the TV?
I'm sorry, if you have fight pass in a package for fubo, then yes just download the app and sign in with your fubo credentials.

I'd be interested in seeing Cullan get a crack at 141. Not out on Block long-term, but he's still got a ways to go. Not shocking imo. I always thought he was a bit raw as a prospect and missing a full year does nothing to help development.

I personally disagree, I think Ryder needs to be thrown out there as much as possible. He needs these matches a lot more than Cullan, and if he was starter at the beginning of the season, he was probably getting the best of Cullan in the room.

under normal cesspool rules and regulations we would say " Pictures or it never happened" BUTTTTTTT under this situation and these circumstances we do not need to see you dressed as
Bugs Bunny No GIF
Jessica Rabbit.. no matter HOW CUTE may feel
Trust me, there are some pictures out there in the web of worlds that I really wish were not….

Trust me, I’m not really what I want to be, but thank God I’m not what I used to be….
