Iowa vs. Illinois is interesting match-up and really can provide us a very good snapshot of where this team is headed offensively in the Big Ten. I believe that last weekend was just 1 of those slugfest you will have in a season due to weather (wind), turnovers, lack of starters, two great D's, etc. you have in a season. You may have 2 to 3 of these games in a year. We won the 1st of these!
With Illinois they gave up a ton of points to North Carolina and then played better against Nebraska. But the common theme with both those games is they gave up over 180 yards rushing and this is where we should exploit them BIG-TIME.
I expect a heavy dose of running and a balanced attack to get CJ, WRs, and TEs on the same page once again. I can see us putting up over 500 yards of offense and scoring 42 points in this game. I actually expect us to blow them out while a game at Northwestern I expect to be within 10 points.
Can't wait to see the game Saturday!
