Big Ten scheduling. I think Dresser originally announced the dual would be 12/9 in one of his newsletters, but what I heard is the Big Ten may have scheduled Iowa a road dual the day before so the ISU dual had to be pushed back.

Are you suggesting that the B1G is now scheduling conference duals before 1 Jan? If true, great, but this is the first I'm reading about it.
Iowa has had a conference dual before Jan 1 for the past 3 years.
I guess I've just missed noticing it. I went back and saw that PSU had a WIS dual in mid December two years ago. My fading memory. For you young'ins, don't get old...

I wish I were smart enough to have thought of this one.
Next season's dual looks a bit more competitive than the last several years to me, mostly due to Iowa having a rebuilding year. Some pretty good matchups at 33, 41, 97. I think 74 could be could be competitive if Pestano is back to where he was 2 years ago. He cut too much last year.
I could see bonus for Iowa at 49, 57, 65, and 84. Don't see really anywhere where ISU gets bonus accept maybe heavyweight if Stoll isn't back.

141 - Turk vs Storr - 3-6 ISU (33 and 41 are toss ups so giving one to each)
149 - Sorenson vs. Rodgriguez/Briceno 7-6 Iowa
157 - Kem vs Diblasi - 10-6 Iowa
165 - Marinelli vs Breitenbach - 14-6 Iowa
174 - Young vs Pestano - 17-6 Iowa
184 - Wilke vs Swalla/Egli - 21-6 Iowa
197 - Holloway vs Harrington/Gremmel - 21-9 Iowa
HVY - ? vs Harrington/Colbray - 21-12 Iowa
