11:00 on Palm Sunday really? God I hate the scheduling of basketball games these days. I get that they don't want to double up games for tv and tv execs could not care less if people want to attend church on Sunday. Sports and religion shouldn't mix just like politics and religion shouldn't but people who want to watch the game live and attend Sunday service shouldn't have to make a choice.

47 percent of the country lives in the Eastern time zone. That's noon for us. Church is long over.
32.9 in the central. Again for many church is long over then (considering most services start at 9 or 10 and even if its 10 how many go to churches further than 15 miles away?)
That's good for 70 percent of all tv sets.
Let's see the other matchup as of now include Hawaii, or Oregon or multiple texas schools, or VCU OK..etc. It makes sense why Big 10 v villanova is thrown up on the main channel at a prime time.

I go to the largest church of my denomination in my city and the oldest in the state of Florida. We have three regular services along with a mixed contemporary/traditional service I attend at 11:00 at the same time as one going in the main church.

Hey I don't wear it on my sleeve and don't care what other people believe. Just don't like sports events overflowing into Sunday mornings and see no need for them to.
Good thing the Lord Of Darkness is perfectly cool with me watching bball on Sunday morning.
Maybe because a lot of people don't see it as a priority to go to church on Sundays. Face it, you are in the minority. Maybe not in Iowa, but compared to the rest of the country you are. Why should the major tv networks cater to the minority?
Do you have a problem with games being on during "business hours" too? If you want to watch the games work your schedule around it or don't watch. I'm a Christian btw.
Really you have a point because I see faith/religion as something personal and the tv networks don't need to account for it no matter what kind of numbers it involves. I don't like it but that doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things one way or the other.
This or you could try a Saturday evening mass. I think most churches have evening masses on Saturday.
Catholics have Saturday evening mass but don't know of many Protestant churches that do that. I like to sleep as I get older and don't get around very early so tomorrow becomes about the Hawks and life goes on.
Our church has one Sunday morning service...at 10:45. I will be attending, as there are more important things in life than sports.

Sports occur at all different times of any given day, and any day on the calendar is just as likely to have religious significance to someone as any other.
Why should the NCAA plan their schedule around the Christian religion and not all the others?
Real Christians observe the entire Sabbath anyways, not just the early morning hours. Sounds like you're something of a hypocrite on this issue.
