Dogma? Is he heading to NJ to see "Buddy Jesus"Are you lost? Why else would anyone be in central WI![]()
Hey, Lax -- if you're anywhere near Stevens Point, it would be worth catching SPASH stars Brady and Dylan Koontz in action. Headed to tOSU next year. Both probable 2x WI state champs. Fun kids to watch. (Don't tell the Bucks, but they grew up Iowa fans, as their dad is an IC native.)I'll be in central WI, but yeah I'd be down, beam me in with a FaceTime or something.![]()
Why have it streamed it's on Fox Sports SW.Still confirming the details but it would probably be at Joe's Pub in Johnston off Merle Hay Road. We would have the wrestling streamed to a big screen and NFL Playoff Football on the other screens in the bar.
You'll be home by 5:30I'm gonna try (run it by the wife tonight). Have a family deal that night which will make it difficult.
Not seeing the problem then...Ha, and I have to be in Nevada at 6

I've definitely seen those guys wrestle quite bit, very fun to watch, I was friends with a few SPASH kids including Fritz Schierls who wrestles for the buckeyes too, really great kid, and very good at Greco. Especially with Greco Legend Dennis Hall running a club out of UW Stevens Point. Our careers never intersected as I believe they were freshman a year or two after I graduated, but SPASH is in our conference. I try to keep tabs on the Valley Conference as well as I can, overall the talent in the area has declined massively from my 'era'. The valley conference owned the state for pretty much the entire 2000's and through 2013, WVC school won the team state title every year from 2003-2013, and prior to that 1996 or so to 2001, 2002 the lone year not winning. Now, not even a single conference team is ranked in the state at all. Crazy to watch the shift of power in WI HS wrestling right before my eyes haha.Hey, Lax -- if you're anywhere near Stevens Point, it would be worth catching SPASH stars Brady and Dylan Koontz in action. Very cool, Lax. I know Brady and Dylan think highly of Fritz, and he really talked them up to the tOSU staff. Sounds like a great kid. As for Hall, he's like an uncle to them. They've grown up wrestling under him. Obviously a phenomenal influence. It's not surprising that Greco is their favorite style.I've definitely seen those guys wrestle quite bit, very fun to watch, I was friends with a few SPASH kids including Fritz Schierls who wrestles for the buckeyes too, really great kid, and very good at Greco. For most of the meet, there will be no competing football. The Chiefs game at noon has been moved to a nighttime start due to the weather.Still confirming the details but it would probably be at Joe's Pub in Johnston off Merle Hay Road.
