I do that regardless. I already said if I win the bet I'll give an extra hundzy to WFL along with never posting on the PSU site. Just trying to throw a little extra in for the betterment of the community.
Why the consternation?? Seems like a no brainer, fair, honest wager to me.
Pretty sure PSU and Iowa Fans are hoping both will be healthy for the next couple years (as I do for every good heavy - sucks when the NCAA tourney get a trimmed look at what coulda been every year). If you think 280 pound guys with bad knees will never have problems wrestling for 2/3 more years, may the angels keeps shooting sunshine up you skirt. I thought Nevills had 2 problems working - One was pectoral, and the other was some foot problem? Anyway - Hope we see them duke it out while both 100 %healthy

Since you know it all, shouldn't you probably see both? I was under the impression that psychiatrist rarely help you with more than writing a prescription. A psychologist would help you work through your issues with psychotherapy. Some are licensed as both, but most that are usually focus on the medication side of things as well.

Surely a more "friendly" wager can be made? Suspension of posting privileges on either end doesn't seem like a productive outcome. I agree with others who suggested or implied a charitable donation to be the stakes. Even if simply to the opposing club (e.g., HWC vs NLWC). Would certainly resolve the dispute over fairness.

My bet is with FT since he clearly stated that Nikkle "is in a different league" than Brooks. I stand to lose $200 and posting rights on the PSU site vs nothing but his posting rights on here. Seems like a no brainer to me.

The 2 most interesting matches of this contest, IMO, will be Suriano vs Gilman and Stolls vs Nevills.
I expect Gilman to win but I am very curious to see how Suriano performs against him. I think it will be close.
As for Stoll vs Nevills, I see this as a complete toss-up. It's truly anyone's match. However, if Stoll has not been healthy that long at the time of the match, Nevills has a slight advantage.

It's difficult for me to pin it (most interesting matches) down to just 2...I am intrigued by the possibility of Joseph-Marinelli and Rasheed-Meyer, as well. Those 2 could be just as (if not more) important in determining the outcome of the dual. Nickal-Brooks probably still has the biggest fireworks potential, but I also expect some @ 165 and 174. ANYTHING could happen at those 3 weights. I just hope both teams go into the dual at full strength -- if so, it will be a barn burner.
It will be a tough haul for the Hawks, OSU, PSU and tOSU in span of 12 days. Hard for them to peak for this stretch.
Nah, we've been training through all the important duals and tournaments the last few years.
My guess is there is a midseason point the staff tries to reach with the squad peaking. The question is, is it the Midlands or this early-mid January 12 day stretch.
