Do not want! My badger friends have been more annoying than usual this season, and I would never hear the end of it if the won. On the flip side, Iowa could win that game and I'd have bragging rights for life. History tells me that Wisconsin wins that game. But Iowa is better than Wisconsin this year. Hmmm.....nah, let's just hope for an early exit for Bucky please.

If they meet and Iowa plays like they have been in the last month I think they beat Wisconsin by 10+ points. JMO

Those could be the best of times or the worst of times.

South Dakota State is a REALLY good team. Not expecting to play Providence in Round 2.

They score at a higher clip than we do. I hope we can play good perimeter defense, get the ball inside and maybe catch them when their 3’s aren’t falling. I think they shoot 40+% out beyond the arc

If we have to catch SDSU on an off night to beat them, then God help us. We should feel plenty confident that we can beat SDSU.

They also pretty much play 5 guys heavy minutes and their tallest player is like 6'7". They pretty much play 5 out. The beauty of our team is that we can match this up with the Murrays, PMac, Perk, JoeT and Ulis and would destroy them in the paint.

It's really difficult to project how SDSU might perform against the Hawks but I've watched a half dozen of their games (one in person) and they are a very good shooting team,

They have a couple legitimate B10 level players on that squad in Brady Scheierman (reminds me of Paul Mulcahy but with deadly 3PT range) and F Doug Wilson. They are a confident bunch and they play loose.

I do believe the Hawkeyes have too many weapons for the Jacks to prevail but I think it would be an entertaining game (as in closer than expected). I would much rather face Providence in Round2.
 
I would love to see Iowa-Wisky in the Elite 8. Got revenge on Rutgers and Purdon't, and it is time to also get Wisky. I have it in my bracket. Wisky gets to play Auburn in basically a home game. Hawks-Kansas in Chicago should be a good one. Wish I lived closer.

This year was the classic Wisconsin overachieving team. They use their grind it out style and home court advantage and dirty flopper Davison to win conference title and then fizzle out in NCAA when they get a level whistle. Also Davis looks to be wearing down.

Regardless of whether Iowa can make it to Elite 8, I don't see Wisconsin going far. Wisconsin would be one
team from B1G I wouldn't mind getting beat in 1st game. Illinois might be my 2nd choice that I wouldn't mind fizzling ut.

Indiana, Rutgers, Purdue, ohios state all more likeable. Michigan has decent team, coach is good for some laughs if he goes Southside Chicago.

He's a loser, and a sore one at that. I am surprised that he didn't try to start a fight from the bench. Sooooo glad he's gone before from B1G games before he injured someone permanently. If he ever plays professionally and tries that shit, he'll get decked.

This, although I see why a lot of fans feel this way. We’ve seen this all too many times . Get our hopes up only to be kicked in the nut sack.

ncaa threw badgers a bone and put them in regional they can overload...still, they only got a nut puncher's chance of getting to Elite 8.

Fear is a bad thing in sports. That is an ideal matchup for Iowa
