Kind of chilly this morning after being brutal mid 90s with a high dew point for a few days. Definitely keeps things interesting. Bring on fall!

I’ve expressed my views on weather temps many times but if I could have 50-70s everyday that I do t want to swim I would absolutely love it.

I love fall, except for the fact that winter is next.
Starting to feel like hunting season.
Pedaled a mere 40 miles yesterday, felt like 80. Guessing today will be much better.
AC off and windows open for the next 10 days. Pretty brutal golfing yesterday, but days like today are a nice respite from the heat. Just wish it were sunny.

Live in NL myself… been years since I played the course but remember the greens being great. Go to the range quite a bit though.

I'm on the river currently. At roughly 330pm it was cloudy/muggy and 78. 90 minutes later, it was 66, sunny, brisk wind, the humidity gone.
I've got a window cracked, but I threw a second blanket on the bed - it can get pretty chilly in a hurry along side the river.

I was thinking that “great sleeping weather” is about the most Middle aged Iowa guy thing ever and I resemble that remark.

We deserve nights like this after all the BS we put up with from December through February.
I always wondered what it would be like to fall asleep in a boat in cool Temperatures on an Iowa river and not have to worry about dams.
Got down to 51 just before dawn here in Guttenberg. 63 inside the ol' cabin - kinda surprised the stored ground heat didn't keep it warmer inside. Double blanketing...good decision.
