From my understanding the underwriting is "yes"I am not familiar enough with Student Loan underwriting, regulations or bankruptcy laws to have an informed opinion. With that said, it is my inference that lenders are not able to turn people away and they are protected under bankruptcy law. lenders don't loan money to 18 year olds to start a business, because they are not required to and they are not protected under bankruptcy law.
