The Tenn game showed a weakness against that press and quickness. But overall, after losing Clark, the team is doing very well. They do need to shore up some ball handling.

A lot of the top teams play a lot of non conf games at home, the hawks are invited to play in tourneys and on the road and they go do it.

Ogrady and Heiden at center are very positive from the highlights and game segments I have watched. Hannah is adapting and playing well facing the basket and dribbling more.

They play some good defense overall. I havent looked at their team stats for shooting and FT %, turnover and rebounding numbers especially compared to the opponent but I assume they are above avg.

Only 1 true road game at Drake with 5 neutral site games and 5 home games. 1 of the neutral games may as well have been a home game in Sioux Falls. That probably is a good schedule setup for a team trying to find its legs after some significant personnel losses.

Look at Iowa schedule and you have multiple quad 1 or 2 wins since neutrals count more than home games even with every game being winnable in rebuilding year.
Now look at preseason top10 ISU who will have zero quality wins before conference if they dont upset UConn.
Great job by Iowa schedule maker.

Not exactly a Kirk Ferentz schedule. Where are Albany and UMass? :)

ISU hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse.

A veteran, tho young, team hasn't shown much to this point.
They're EXTREMELY lucky to play in a dogshit conference.

Who was talking about football? Some of you guys must be a lot of fun to be around......

Bingo….that’s why I antagonize the shit out of them right @Tom Paris

But no more, I made a deal with my Lord and Savior never to go back to the Iowa football board again if Iowa beat Nebraska. I’m pretty sure the Lord doesn’t work that way, but I’m not breaking that commitment. 😜
