Iowa women's basketball project needs your help!!

Please help support this project for the Iowa women's basketball team. With your
help, award winning journalist, Tim Weber, will spend a season with the
University of Iowa women's basketball team and chronicle its journey in a
book (Think "A Season on the Brink" except with maybe the nicest coach
in the
Big Ten instead of Bob Knight, and estrogen instead of testosterone).
If this books takes off it could really be a help for recruiting and a
real boost for the program as a whole. Coach, Lisa Bluder, and her lead
assistant,Jan Jensen, loved the idea. The administration ok'd it and the

players are also on board, even though it will require a lot of time
from
them.
The proposal is on Kickstarter. If you're not familiar with
it, Kickstarter
is a web-based funding platform for creative projects: movies,
books, album projects, and various more esoteric ventures as well
Funding is all or nothing. If you don't reach the goal you set, none of
the proposed contributors is charged (credit cards). This project needs
YOUR support!!

You should post this on the basketball forum as well. All the women's basketball fans post there, even though the forum is mostly messages on the men's team.

the OP does seem familiar. I didn’t open link so no idea on date. I won’t be donating
