They absolutely control there own destiny for the most part just another slip up for Wisconsin @PSU.. and at Purdue.. if Iowa wins out they’re off to Indy. I think Stanley will bounce back big these next few weeks as he was playing scared and was overthinking many boner passes .. actually a lot of bone headed passes etc I hope he flushed it out of his system as we need him the most down the stretch in order to head to Indy..

I used to be optimistic and always defended Stanley. I just can't do it any more, he can't make simple passes on a consistent basis. Constantly overthrows, at the the feet, or behind receivers. He just isn't accurate.

His deep balls seems to be better than last year, but if you look at his stats the last 10 games it is not good, save for a couple of games which help his overall totals.

But yeah, they aren't going to Indy. Way too inconsistent.

So Iowa with an immobile QB who is prone to making multiple awful decisions per game is going to win out? Add to this they can't run the ball against anyone and you have a recipe for another Pinstripe Bowl invite. It does not take a genius to see that Iowa needs a mobile QB or at least the guts to work Mansell into the mix in certain situations (not 4th and long with Stanley flanked wide). The close (big) game debacles are too many to count going to back the big ten championship game against MSU.
