Iowa won the second half!

Sure did against the second and third stringers from Stanford.

Did Nebraska finish with a winning record this year? Just curious.

It amazes me who is over here talking crap after Iowa was in the rose bowl. Yes, Iowa stunk it up today. But we are still better than both ISU and Nebraska.

As I said here a few weeks ago, Iowa is a .500 team against a REAL schedule.

Obsess much. Why are you here loser? Find me one schedule played out there by a div 1 team that Iowa goes .500. I anxiously await your response.

Iowa played three decent teams. Wisconsin, Michigan State, Stanford. 1-2 on those games. The Big 10 allowing a schedule where you don't play Michigan, Michigan State (reg season), Ohio State, Penn State is absolutely a fricking joke. In your two marquee games at the end of the year, you are 0-2. Yet Hawk fans act like you're a national title contender. You're basically one of about 100 teams in the same 6-6, 7-5 category--but you played practically nobody, so you went 11-0 until real life play started.

Who says we are national title contender? And, if you don't believe we were before the BTCCG, then you are an idiot. I will sit and wait this schedule that Iowa would have been a .500 team that an actual div 1 team played. And, once again, what bowl game did your team play in? I really have no clue cause I really don't give a #$%^. Why are you on our board?

Hell, you would have lost to Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State right there. And, playing those games would have wore you down to lose 1-2 more conference games. Substitute another conference game for North Texas or Illinois State. Now you're getting pretty close...and that's in the Big 10.

Big 10 teams have no clue what it's like to play every conference team--ask Big 12 or Pac 12 teams. And, don't forget--we were a pretty bad team this year, and your game against us wasn't decided until late in the 4th quarter.

You forget Northwestern and Pitt? Clowns don't let facts get in the way

I tried to tell Iowa fans how good of a team Stanford was and got laughed off the board. Iowa had a good season and congratulations to them, but I don't think their strength of schedule in the regular season helped them to be ready for the level of team like Stanford. .

Go away now. Your mother is telling you to turn the lights out and go to bed or you'll be grounded.

Well Then. How the Hell did stanford lose to that crap team northwestern? From the big ten west?

Answer: the game was played at Evanston. I think Pac-12 teams play a lot differently when they're not comfortably out west, just like Iowa struggles when they head to California or Arizona. It doesn't explain the loss today, but historically speaking, there's a lot of evidence to support it.

I would say Iowa was more like a 10-3 team that got a good schedule. Iowa State, on the other hand, was like a 2-10 team that got a lucky upset to finish 3-9. Ouch!

That turned out to be true. It was impossible to know for sure, but Stanford is an extraordinarily impressive team. McCaffery, dear lord, who knew he was THAT good!

I will never be able to forget just how bad you were ... and that you blew a 17-point lead against Oklahoma State (the same team getting owned by Ole Miss right now) at home to lose in your best performance all year. Seriously, your team was 3-9 and you're talking smack? I'm pretty sure the Cardinal would have put a 100 on the Clones.

Yes he's no doubt the best in the country. He's only a sophomore, and barring injury he has the best shot of getting the Heisman next year.

Can he go pro after this year? If I was him, I would. He's ready. And I would draft him before Henry, Fournette, and Elliott if I had the chance.

No, he's only a sophomore. And yes Elliot laid the wood to us today. No excuses even if we had our injured players I think Ohio State would have won. But 11 injured starters on D.

DB] 08/27/2015 - Shaun Crawford out for season ( Knee )
[DB] 09/21/2015 - Drue Tranquill out for season ( ACL )
[DL] 08/28/2015 - Ishaq Williams out for season ( Eligibility )
[DL] 12/26/2015 - Jarron Jones out for season( Knee )Projected All American
[DL] 01/01/2016 - Sheldon Day out for game foot. All American
[LB] 01/01/2016 - Jaylon Smith torn acl first five minutes of game All American
[DL] 01/01/2016 - Jerry Tillery expected to miss Friday vs. Ohio State ( Suspension )
[CB] 12/30/2015 - Devin Butler expected to miss Friday vs. Ohio State ( Foot )
SAF 12/30/2015 - Max Redfield expected to miss Friday vs. Ohio State ( Suspension )
[CB] 11/23/2015 - KeiVarae Russell expected to miss Friday vs. Ohio State ( Tibia )
[LB] 12/08/2015 - James Onwualu is upgraded to probable Friday vs. Ohio State ( Knee )

Their offense had a bad day, it happens. I think if they were to play again Stanford would kick the crap out of them. Actually, I think if they played them 10 times they would win 9.

Wait. So it is ok for Stanford to have a bad day, but not Iowa?

So, sophomores can't go pro, I didn't know that. That's sort of ridiculous, but whatever. I wasn't even thinking of Elliot's game against ND today. I'm just saying McCaffery is better than he is, better than Henry, better than Fournette, at least when it comes to contemporary NFL teams. He's an every down back, he can catch the ball, play WR, run from an I formation or a shotgun formation, return punts and kickoffs, he can do it all. I would definitely take him in the first round if he was available this year. Hopefully he doesn't get hurt next year because he has a bright future ahead of him. And I saw his interviews--he's a class act, very humble and congratulatory toward his teammates and the other team. Honestly, he's the whole package.

I am not so sure Iowa loses to michigan. So, that puts Iowa at 10-2. Still waiting for that actual d1 schedule where Iowa is a .500 team. And again. What bowl did the clones play in? I really don't know cause I couldn't care less and would never be on their board.

I agree, we pretty much sucked. And it took until late in the 4th quarter for you to put us away. You were somewhat better than us....not a whole lot. A .500 team against a normal schedule...

And for the 5th time I will ask. Show me this normal schedule Iowa goes .500 against.

Your point is moot, since we weren't .500 against a normal schedule.

Good lord, ISU is a terrible program that plays in a bad conference, yet still their fans come over here to talk smack? I guess that is to be expected from a group that gets a collective hard on over one of the most pathetic marketing videos ever produced and has an athletic department that has to resort to claiming a bunch of wins and "championships" for a coach that he earned as a player at a D3 school. Stupid is as stupid does.

LOL! Yet another Clone fan in denial about Iowa's 12-0 regular season in a tough conference. Classic!
