Iowa Wrestling History

I've been looking for a resource that shows Iowa's year by year results broken down by weight class. A few years ago I remember looking back on the great teams from the 90s and 80s but now I can't find much at all. The hawkeyesports.com history page is the best I can find but it only goes back 2003-2004 and all of the stat links don't work anyway. Does anyone know of a good website where I can dig into the details?

That can be tough to find, somewhat surprisingly.

In all seriousness, you might want to just call the wrestling office. I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for but the Media Guide is full of Hawkeye wrestling History. It shows all the old dual results, Big-10 Champs, National Champs and individual records, plus much much more.

I remember reading an article in the des moines register written by Andy Hamilton last year. When Gilman, Clark, Sorenson and/or Brooks made the finals tonight it will be the 28th straight year where iowa has had at least 1 finalist. That is a remarkable feat to accomplish and will keep it going on for another year!
