Iowa Wrestling will have practice beginning at 8:15 Saturday morning.

If you have never been to one of these, you are missing out. Well worth it to go to this practice even if you do not go to the football game.

An amazing intense atmosphere to be apart of. Recruits in the house will add to it.

Roll call...I will be there.

Never been. Where's the entrance? Where do you go or contact to attend a practice?

Enter Carver through the north entrance by the Gable statue. Once inside, hang a left toward the stairs/elevator. Then just follow the signs or the mob of fans headed to the wrestling room. You won't need to contact anyone before going.

Also, you don't want to be the only dummy who forgot his video camera. Phones are great these days, but there is nothing like a good, professional close-up.

Probably a good experience, but far short of what you get at PSU. Iowa has nothing that can match the experience of spyker IN THE HOUSE!;) Sometimes you get lucky and you catch a glimpse of a quick pow-wow with Cael before they head back to the coach's quarters. Sometimes you can see him giving JG much needed advice on the best 3rd period TDs. Most often he's doling out relationship advice to the team.

The master in action...

No ones buying that turd pile.

This, but make sure you bring your tripod...nobody likes shaky footage.

I also recommend an upgraded external microphone in case Tom or Terry respond to your incessant screaming for an interview.

What a moran. The poster asking who looked good was obviously wanting to know who got a good look at the gear the recruits were wearing and not the lady next to you.

Btw, what was she wearing?
Moron, not moran. I will give you the benefit of the doubt though, to keep you from assuming the title. And a tight gray Hawkeye long sleeved t-shirt. Blue jeans. She wore them both well.

Didn't really see any great matchups when I was there. Kem is very smooth on his feet. Looking forward to seeing him on the mat. Will be a crowd favorite putting some big points on the board.

Stoll was drilling with Telford and looking pretty nimble on that reconstructed knee - did not look like it was limiting him much. Also looked like he was taking it easy on the cookies this year - looked a little more muscular and with less "baby fat" than last year.

This caught my eye right away, Stoll looks great

It was very obvious Spencer Lee is a class act as he was having a lot of fun hanging with the rest of the recruits. I couldn't help to notice the friendliness he had with all the kids and the love he showed towards Berge and all the smiling and laughing going on.

TG is on a mission, after wrestlers got done 1 on 1 they started running laps and I mean a lot of them and TG was lapping everyone it appeared and some more than once and reminded me a lot of MM conditionin.

So you taking the under or over that 2 out of these four commit(Warner, Berge, Falbo, Wilson)?

Had the same impression, HIWILLE. And I didn't think Thomas could possibly get more ripped, but he now has muscles on top of his other muscles. Kid is as shredded as a human being can get. Noticed that Kaleb Young is absolutely ripped, too.

I noticed Kaleb is listed at 174 on the roster. Does he pass the eyeball test or did he look more like a 165?

He really stood out for how lean he has gotten. It wouldn't surprise me if he could make 165. I think Wilke has caught and maybe passed Holloway since last spring. This is not a judgement from one practice. I still think he will struggle against big 197's if he ends up being the guy. It just seems like he has made bigger strides. I think Holloway will be battling Costello in the future.
Bowman got several frequent flyer miles in his match up with Brooks. The Bull gets a lot of TD's but he has a ways to go before being a hammer on top. As always it was a great day to be in Carver. Winter break is officially here for me so my online time will be limited. I hope everyone can pack Carver this year.

Falbo did look to be having a good time and his Dad looked to be enjoying his chat with Gable also. I paid a lot of attention to the recruits reactions to there surroundings. So if you want to go by that I'll take the over 2:D.

I would love to see Holloway at heavy if HE chose to do so, the kid would be a beast with a added 40 pound
