It is great to be an Iowa Wrestling Fan.
Go Hawks!
Yep, viscous. Just as Matt Bowen can always say he was the guy taken before Tom Brady, that poor kid from Mahomet can always say he was the sacrificial lamb offered up to Warner in 2017.That is one nasty head snap. He's got power as well, he lifted the opponent like he was a 125 pounder.
The plan is to redshirt and then go 197Wow, he moves great for being an upper weight. Keeps his hips back and explodes when he goes for the leg. Very excited to watch him in the upcoming years. Is he projected at 197?
Yes and he has room to grow more fully into that weight.Wow, he moves great for being an upper weight. Keeps his hips back and explodes when he goes for the leg. Very excited to watch him in the upcoming years. Is he projected at 197?
Congrats to Jacob he looks bigger than the last match I saw him wrestle looking forward to a top recruit in the uppers to solidify the lineup in the next bunch of years exciting times...
Stoll was #14 in 2014. Nevills #5 and Haines #9 were ahead of him at 285. I consider Stoll a top 10 recruit for his class. Clearly he is better then Haines and if healthy gives Nevills all he can handle with a strong chance of coming out on top. Brooks was #20 in his class and Rodgers was #4 at 184. I believe Sammy had the TF at the Grapple last year.If I'm not mistaken, Iowa has not had a top 10 recruit to wrestle 184, 197 or Hwt during Coach Brands 10 years as head coach.
Very much looking forward to seeing Warner at Iowa. We still need some help at 184 and Hwt (great if Stoll recovers, but clearly we need backup).
