Pay the players more and coaches less. Money talks BS walks now days. Pay the five stars from coaches salary. Ya gotta pay to win.

And paying a high school player $10 million is?
That’s not how nil works currently. Even if they approve the direct paying of players there will be a limit that everyone has to abide by and then the nil is added onto that. It’s great for the players but it won’t do anything to level the playing field.
I agree with paying the coaches less. I'd rather pay the players nothing first, and start from there...........
Its just more nonsense. Lets use the NFL model and make the players the bigger bread winners. Lets give 18-19 year old kids millions and then watch how your actually going to coach these kids and build some kind of "team" when your working with teenagers making more the then the coach. Good Lord....
One of the problems with NIL (one of many, many problems) is that there isn't any disclosure to the fans. No list, no database. We hear stories about $10 million QB's but that's about it. Or, maybe I just haven't seen it.

SO are there only 10-15 "serious football programs". Literally everything you post illuminates that you have zero interest in the success of Iowa athletics. Time to move on.......
Currently, it would be a safe assumption to make, that those who “have college football’s best interest at heart” ( NCAA, athletic conferences, television and sports networks) do not care one iota about college football playing on a level playing field.
College football apparently has adopted the “AAU basketball” model…jazz up a couple of “teams” with superior players but encourage players of lesser talent to participate to offset costs/expenses and provide fodder for the more talented players by appealing to thriller ( or their parents) egos and pipe dreams.
Yep, the MAC would be a good fit. KF would have them winning 6-7-8 games per year.
