Ipsos Poll post Biden drop out!

More details here.

Repeat after me:
1. Only battleground polls matter.
2. National polls based on RVs matter even less.
3. We're still waaaayyy too proximate to the noise event for any poll to be meaningful.

While this is true, Dems need to win general election by 4-5% to win EC and Biden was down 2-3 everywhere. This is a big move in 72 hours. Especially post assassination attempt and convention and VP pick. Biden was on his way to being down 7-9 in general.

It's been 1 week, does anybody even care that Trump was shot at anymore?
Nope. Just like school shootings. No one cares after the first few weeks.
We live in a world that needs constant entertainment or something new. Remember before Trump was shot it was all about the girl that hawks loogies. Now it’s Kamala and next week it will be something new and the numbers will look different.

None of that matters.

If Harris picks her VP wisely, and focuses on the states she needs to win, then she has a pretty good chance of beating the geriatric.

Also, the candidate who stays out of the national spotlight the most between now and November is probably going to be the winner.

Will Harris be similar to Palin. Palin got a Republican Party that wasn’t enthused about McCann to suddenly spark some. The buzz eventually wore off.

Palin was a terrible choice, for one.

Secondly, John McCain was a victim of 8 years of W. Americans wanted a change.

Obama was young and charismatic. You know, the opposite of Trump.

The two scenarios couldn’t be further apart.

It will come down to three states. Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
If Harris picks Shapiro as VP, she probably has PA in the bag. That leaves Michigan and Wisconsin to win.

Palin energized a core base that felt November was a certain loss. Same with Kamala. They both have/ have not been put under scrutiny of the position they are running for.

^^^^The only reason Palin was picked was the GOP felt they could draw female voters from the Dems that might have been bitter that Obama was chosen over Hillary.
Unfortunately for McCain, Silly Sarah started speaking at rallies and the interview to Wallace? with the "Can I get back to ya" response when asked about the Bush doctrine.

Palin was an idiot in regards to national politics.

Kamala has been veep for four years. Palin was a little known governor from Alaska. As much as Trump fans love to harp on Kamala’s intelligence, Sarah Palin truly was a ****ing idiot.

In short, it backfired on McCain.

Again, it’s going to boil down to a few states. The VP candidate she chooses is paramount.

According to the poll, a majority of voters, 62 percent, believe that Biden dropping out of the presidential race was the right thing to do, the polls said.
A previous Quinnipiac poll, released June 26, put Trump four points ahead of Biden, 49 to 45 percent in a head-to-head match.

So 2 point bump for Dems post convention.

They go deeper and the pressure is higher. New lines of attack vs George H W Bush were found. And he had been VP for 8 years.

Oh he's plenty book smart.

But he's an opportunistic creep with no rizz.

The fear they have been unable to hide is for reason!

Said it before and I will say it again, MAGA propping up RFK Jr. was a needlessly bad own goal. He will pull FAR more votes from Trump than any Democrat, because he only pulls nutjobs, which are a MAGA staple.

sampling 426 Democrat voters vs. 376 Republicans and 341 Independents.

Think folks underestimate her as well though. Prosecutor, DA, State Attorney General, Senator, VP. You don’t get all of that on your resume by being a moron or simple Affirmative Action hire.
Well, if she wasn’t a DEI hire, obviously she got where she did by being a ho. 🙄
