KF scapegoated Davis and spun some more yarns and realizing things need to change. Half the fan base bought and tried to shine the pig (hiring his kid with 0 experience). It wouldn't matter because regardless of the OC, KF calls the plays or tells what plays they can call. Recruiting also doesn't matter. Wh in the hell would any skill player want to come here and play in this dog crap offense?

When our offense has almost always been stagnant with a Ferentz in charge I'm not sure the best idea is to hire a Ferentz as OC.

I say cut losses with Polasek and get a real OL guy. I don't want either of the Ferentz's at this point. I want to like them, but they need to leave before they destroy whatever legacy they still might have. Fry knew to get out (sort of). You realize Ferentz has now been Iowa coach longer than Fry? Makes me sick. Kirk has to go. Brian, too. We need new blood, coaches who understand today's college game. Ferentz does not recruit well enough to run this 1980s style of offense year after year after year. Saban can because every starter is a five-star monster ready for the NFL.
