Is it possible to get to a 4 seed?

If we go on a run that includes beating MSU, Ohio State, UCLA, and USC consecutively, which would mean 7 straight wins and 13-2 in last 15 with only loses by 2 to UCLA at in OT to OSU, not sure how we wouldn't be pushing a 3 seed.
If my math is correct, that means we'd overall be a top 12 seed. That seems pushing it quite a lot. I'd be happy if they get a 5. I understand the desire of a 4, and winning the whole thing could result in that depending on what else happens, but I think a 3 is--and should be--impossible.

I do think a 3 is probably out of reach.

I would love one more win against Ohio St tonight though. It will be extremely tough and we can't give up free points to the press.

It depends on how the Duke, Oklahoma and Kentuckys of the world fair. If none of them reach their conference finals, and Iowa runs the table with wins over OSU, UCLA and USC, finishing 25-9...it would be very hard to keep them off that 3 line. I think they would get one.

I don't think you are wrong but the last 15 games would be as impressive as anyone in the country..

You win 5 games in 5 days against those teams . . . hell, you could make a great argument that Iowa would deserve a 2 seed. Compare that resume to anyone else's. Go ahead.

But, of course, as much as we'd love to see it, going 5-5 would border on the miraculous. But miracles have happened . . .

Going from unranked to top 12 would be ... a lot.

This is just delusion at this point. We aren't jumping from a 6 to a 2 seed.

Let's be real, the NCAA does not want to lose out on that money from Iowa hosting... but is it possible?

I think Iowa is clearly a 6 seed at worst and in my eyes a 5 seed right now (top 20).

I think beating OSU and UCLA would make an interesting case.

I think winning the whole thing would lock us in without a doubt.

Thoughts?

If get to the championship game after beating UCLA, we will probably be a surprise 4. At that point we will have done enough to deserve it and the promise of sell outs never hurts when its close
