Is Johnson-Arigu sitting on the bench tonight?

Yes he was there and on the bench.

He was not in street clothes. He was in the standard warmup the players wear but with slides not bb shoes. He was seated amongst the gray teamers.

With Lewis and Johnson-Arigu coming in next year, is it likely they both be on the court together, can either be a primary ball handler? If I read right they both seem to be 6’7” with good handles… how good? Are either predicted to be better than Seydou?

They are both wings, not primary ball handlers.
Brock, drew(hopefully) and Dix will handle the ball w Pryce/Lewis at 3.
Lewis appears to have good handle, tho.

If everyone but Payton returns(doubtful) we will have at least 11-12 bodies, but maybe no alpha dog leading scorer...but maybe an ensemble approach can work with a shock and awe full court pressure run and gun style.

This is why sports kills in tv ratings ..totally unscripted...we will hope for a break thru next season.

An interesting thing to note: Lewis’ dad is his high school coach and Johnson-Arigu’s dad is a respected trainer for basketball players. Both players are in an environment where there are lots of opportunities for skill development.

While I agree that neither of the recent recruits will be a guy you want to run offense through in their first year, I could see each of them developing into the kind of player you trust to initiate things in the half-court.
