We're starting to have too many teams that hate us... ISU, Minny, Nebby, and Northwestern all want our heads every year.
No idea why you guys talk so much trash about ISU when you lose to them every other year. It would be one thing if you dominated them, but you don't.
See that's what I'm getting at. You Nebraska guys are working yourselves into a lather about beating little ol' Iowa and making your season.
To Iowa's credit, they have played well this season and are deserving of where they are at., but it is funny to me that all of the sudden they try try and talk shit about 2 opponents that have a history of winning against them recently.
This season is garbage. Beating Iowa wouldn't "make our season". It would give Nebraska momentum going into next year and most important of all it would be really funny. But this season was lost a long time ago.
Ultimate slap in the face to be compared to ISU. When Nebraska's AD says in 2014 that a win over an average Iowa was not good enough for Bo to keep his job, sounds like the only rivalry is in Western Iowa fans minds.
If the roles were reversed and we were looking at getting our 6th win by knocking off a top 5 ranked Nebraska team how do you think our fans would be acting?
When it comes to Iowa St I think its more embarrissing that we call ISU our little brother but somehow have something like a .500 record against them recently. They are a crap football program after all. Big brothers typically beat the crap out of their little brothers. Calling it the little brothers super bowl when they beat you is just an excuse for your shortcomings.

Nebraska is no where near Ia st. but they are getting new coaches on a regular basis.
We are not the ones who deny it is a rivalry, the Nebraska fans do. Their attitude towards this game shows it is whether they want to admit it or not.
