Is next week a trap game?

Purdue isn’t a rival to Iowa, regardless of what some corporate assholes in the conference office try to dictate.

It might be a trap game for Penn State. They play Michigan after they play us, then they play Wisconsin.

Both teams will be ready , Stanley needs throw to only the white shirts and the defense needs to play very well to win this game.

After the heartbreaking loss last year and the straight up beat down they gave us the year before, you don't think the boys will be hungry for this one?

LOL, OK.......

They will, without a doubt, be prepared and plenty hungry!

I think the idea of a trap game is outdated. The playing field is more level (or at least closer) that you can't take any game for granted.

This should be a good match up. Iowa plays games one game at a time. Penn State is darn good, tremendous skill players, it will require a mistake free game to win in Happy Valley. Calling this a trap game is laughable. We just need to keep winning to overtake Wisconsin. Remember, Northwestern and Purdue have only one loss also.

A trap? No.
This week is a ranked match up. No traps there.
Purdue just beat OSU, no longer crouched in the weeds there either. Gotta shut that bad ass freshman down or he will do what ISUs Montgomery did to us 2 years ago.

Purdue is our most heated rival and they beat OSU like Urban Meyers coaches beat their wife’s.

I worry about this game against ped state

Every game is a “Trap Game”. See NW, Purdue, and a lack luster performance against the Gophers last year.

Step one. Contain McSorely. Hit him hard and hit him often.

Step two. "See step one & repeat"
