Iowa should already be the 5th place team in the conference and half a game from fourth. Until the refs snatched it from them in Minnesota. Sorry, still alittle but hurt about that.
Hopefully, the team realizes they got jobbed by MinnySoda and FIGHTS like

Well I take the NW game. That was a disaster and I hope we get a 2nd shot at them in the BTT. They might be good, but they are not 30+pts better than us. We laid and egg and I want another shot at them.
I hope the young hawks use this last game as motivation and go into East Lansing and sneak out a W. Then take a week off and re-focus for the finish.

We need this one bad, but its gonna be tough. They are down this year, but that is still a really tough place to win at. They have to do a lot better at D and rebounding than they have been.
And once again, we will be playing a team that the Big Ten really wants to get into the NCAA's. Maybe they'll send the same ref squad we got at Minny.
Yes, and it's our season. I think the Minnesota loss doomed our NCAA tourney hopes, but another loss here definitely does (unless we somehow win the B1G Tourney)

Every key factor is working against us: Down from a BS loss, Fatigue playing double OT with a 2 day rest and another road trip, Izzos refs, East Lansing, Izzos refs..............Will be interesting to see how the young squad starts out, if its close early I like our chances at least to take them to the wire, after that I have no idea what will F us this time around under a minute to go.

Agreed that almost all the evidence points to an MSU win...maybe even a rout. But this is college basketball, and as we should know by now--especially this season in the BIG--anything can happen.
My hope is that the Hawkeyes are as POed about the fiasco in The Barn as many of us are and will meet the madness in East Lansing with a fire and energy that simply will not allow itself to be denied.
BLOCK THE HELL OUT, and hit the boards like they've never been hit before. Iowa has plenty of fouls to give with Cook, Pemsl, and Kreiner. Let's not be afraid to use them. Put a body on Sparty and let them know this ain't no place for soft serve. Show MSU these Hawks don't back down, and that those two spankings Iowa handed out last year were just the beginning of a new trend.

Actually think this might be Fran's best coaching year yet. He's going to have to dial up a good plan to win this game. May be too much to overcome but I have hope for the Hawks.
If we thought they refs were against Iowa at Minny wait til 2morrow in east Lansing with Izzo.. smh
