Im a republican. I follow politics every day. I am shocked that the GOP is headed down a path of nominating Carson. The guy is clearly not qualified to be President. He is qualified for many more things than I am but to say he would be a good leader of the USA is different. Boring as mud, not a great speaker, not a policy person, and zero experience. I really dont get the interest in him.

I am also not a Trump supporter but I can at least understand why republicans like him. He has a huge set of balls and isnt afraid to speak his mind.

If it is a Carson vs Hillary election, I think it will go down as the most boring in history. Hillary will hammer Carson on the experience factor and he wont have the media backing like Obama did. He also doesnt have the charisma to deflect the experience issue.

America has become a reality tv nation and these simpletons are going to vote for who they personally like, and not who they think can do the best job. They'll like him (personality) so much, they'll probably talk themselves into believing he's the best man for the job..

He has "no" leadership experience. Elect him and we get what we deserve.

Oh - you mean like Obama. Got it.

Of course they will not nominate Carson, Trump or anyone else not named Bush, Rubio or Kasich. Those are the only three who are realistic nominees. I put the odds at 60% Bush, 30% Rubio, 10% Kasich. I think it is close to 100% Kasich is on the ticket.

Good God I hope the Republicans nominate Carson or Trump!!!

.Not only would it guarantee a Democrat in the White House, it might actually knock enough sense into the Republican establishment that they'd actually become a serious, responsible party interested in governing again.
