Is the running game that good, OR are the linebackers a concern??

After reading a few columns on the running game from the kids scrimmage, I was a little excited that our offense may come out of the gates firing on all cylinders. That is good right?

We have heard good things about the linebackers as well. Sounds like we have 5 decent players to fill the 3 positions.

Then we keep hearing about concerns with the offensive line.

So, if the OL is supposed to be not so great. Then how did the RBs look so good??

That makes me think that maybe the linebackers are a weak link? Who has watched the LBers? What are your thoughts? I was/am hoping that the group of 5 can come out and play. And play well...

I haven’t heard anything negative about the OL other than possibly for the opener with two guys out.

DiNardo said just yesterday that the OL was better than he anticipated.

They have had a lot of time to develop the line, knowing who will be out for the starting game. That and we have some experienced players, along with some talented newer guys... Hopefully they are a solid unit!
