Always enjoy your postsForgot my password. Yeah, I have three more coming. My junior this year that hates wrestling quit for five years from anxiety. Went back last year and had a different philosophy than his coach. Pinned a dude in like 13 seconds and said said I effing quit mid season. Won’t go to club practices. This year he kicked some ass with pins and bonus points. One bad loss where his arm got caught in a kid’s singlet and pinned. Avenged that loss with his own pin. Not taking away from the dudes that beat him at sectionals, but he told me he was going to lose because he’s done and doesn’t want to go to state. Next year he could walk through the year and make state. He won’t, doesn’t care. My third is a goofball and does everything thing wrong and won’t listen to anyone and will only do Greco he tells his coaches. I don’t know what he’ll become. My youngest was one of the best in the country/definitely the best in Iowa. He’ll be a freshman next year. Dominated this year wrestling up around 20 pounds usually as a number 1. He has a national title, but had two concussions and he was out for five years. He’s back though going to club four times a week to catch up
with kids that have won Tulsa that he used to hammer. He had t-shirts and singlets made for him and people would chant his nickname when he wrestled that caused anxiety too. It’s a horrible genetic trait. He’ll be a force. Trying to talk him to going to Waverly now that it’s legal. Bosco kids have taken him under their wings though. I don’t see him leaving Columbus.
I got some in the pipeline. It just depends on the work they do and what they want to achieve. They started at five and we always walked out with four brackets then shit happens and we never push. It’s suck my oldest who is by far the technique freak could never gain weight.
That’s a lot.
Kids have to find their own path. It will help later on. There is a lot for kids to handle in this world, especially in today’s climate. That’s a lot of a response. I know that. Just had to get the history of my kids out there. Just sucks how it started to where it is now. Only one kid out of four loved the sport like me. Effing soccer. Anxiety issues on a one on one sport is crushing. Nobody to blame but yourself. I can’t even enjoy state because I’m so pissed he didn’t try.
Sucks would be if you couldn’t have given them the opportunity when they wanted it. You could, so rest easy Sans. That’s a lot of a response. I know that. So your kid didn't want to go to state so he didn't even try at sectionals? That weight could've gone to a kid who wanted to be there, even if he didn't have the talent to make it.Forgot my password. Let’s settle this on a bridgeLol get over yourself sans
Gas station parking lot. Winner takes home both wives!Let’s settle this on a bridge
Do you have children who deal with anxiety? It’s a challenge.Damn, my dad should have gone to the "Sans School of Excuses". He just told me the guys that beat me were better and I need to get back to work. With excuses like these, who knows how good I could have said I was?

at the local 7-11, dresser will be there to ref the match.Gas station parking lot. Winner takes home both wives!
Why not? There’s a difference between a kid intentionally losing to inferior opponents and just shutting down during tough matches they probably won’t win. Can't believe he broke out "he wasn't trying".
7-11??? Are you even from Iowa?at the local 7-11, dresser will be there to ref the match.
I don’t think the guy is from Iowa. Prolly Ames.7-11??? Are you even from Iowa?
The only acceptable answer is behind the Casey’s.

I’m guessing Sans knows his kids pretty well and can tell when maximum effort is being exhibited.
That said, Sans could have asked his kid why the lack of effort on his part and could have been reassured by his child that he’s happy to be finished with the season.
You forget that like 8 of San's kids have been the best wrestlers in Iowa or have the best top game, but they all either quit or didn't try. Then the next 15 kids he has coming up are as good or better but jury's out if they stick with it or not.I'm not disputing that. It's just funny to read from a parent on a message board as an excuse. If my kid loses because "they weren't trying", I can't imagine going on a message board to make sure it's known that my kid could've won if they wanted to.
Also 4 years ago he got an incurable disease and had 6 months to live. You forget that like 8 of San's kids have been the best wrestlers in Iowa or have the best top game, but they all either quit or didn't try. @SansAgain is Magayna staying with Columbus next year? Can’t believe Bosco or Waverly haven’t gotten him yet
Not Bosco, they told him they didn't want him, because his dad wanted to coach and Bosco didn't want his dad to coach. Things could change now that Bosco has a new head coach, but I doubt it.Schools had offered his dad new cars to come wrestle there. His dad is the coach at Columbus. So that might be a factor.

So you're saying Bosco did recruit him but didn't like the baggage that came with him? But at least they didn't offer a car haha 😂Not Bosco, they told him they didn't want him, because his dad wanted to coach and Bosco didn't want his dad to coach. No my sources say he went to Bosco and they said no, but nice try.So you're saying Bosco did recruit him but didn't like the baggage that came with him? But at least they didn't offer a car haha 😂
Like with some movies and regardless of any truth, I've found wilfully suspending one's disbelief also makes reading Sans more enjoyable.Forgive me if this has been asked before. This Sans guy is a bit like Kentucky Mudflap, correct? I just can't fathom that this is a real person.
