Nothing better than late summer/early fall in Iowa. I thought our FSU fans might like a peek at life in God’s Country.

For once in my adult life I agree with the runner up WPOTY...unless this is sarcasm then GFY. If you like the smell of dead fish the you'll love the beaches...It is so lovely, such amazing scenery! So much better than Palm trees and beaches!!!
I’m pretty sure he was being sarcastic. For once in my adult like I agree with the runner up WPOTY...unless this is sarcasm then GFY. If you like the smell of dead fish the you'll love the beaches...

That’s not fromunda? No pictures of river foam from the Iowa river damn with nitrogen fertilizer run off and blue green algae?
Agree 100 percent. Less bugs and New Yorkers too.It is so lovely, such amazing scenery! So much better than Palm trees and beaches!!!
I will be there this weekend. 🙂OP let’s golf in majestic Galesburg. i can afford like maybe first two beers.
Actually not golfing- SBW and daughter (double no pics) - are coming down and we are having a chill, family weekend.Got a spot?
I've got some sunrise photos from Dove hunting that I would put up against any of those beach photos with concrete hotels 500 yards behind them.
We have plenty of hidden gems beyond the blacktop ourselves. Those are the beaches we let y'all see. I have never vacationed on one of them, and I'm not telling you my secrets.
Also...
Absolutely love the weather this time of year. Not to mention fishing starts heating up again, hunting season is here, and football on cool days is unbeatable. But, I have awful seasonal allergies that kick the ever loving shit out of me. It's like God is just fuxking with me for the entire month of September.
Mountains are for people too devoid of imagination to appreciate subtle, simple beauty.I was out in Montana last month. I’d put that closer to heaven.
I see plenty of corn and soybeans when visiting family in Ohio.Mountains are for people too devoid of imagination to appreciate subtle, simple beauty.
