With a few returners (Brecht, Nico and Vines), add in a 6'4" TeSlaa along with incoming freshman from Florida 6'3" Buie and Kansas City 6'5" Howard....then add in All to our TE group, we may not be in bad shape in the receiving corps after all. If we DO get TeSlaa then the "Next get" should be the 2 OLine guys we need.

It’s amazing how many non-Iowa fans are on here bashing the Hawks. I’m used to seeing trolls on the board, but it seems like every portal transfer target has a thread dominated by “ fans” who have nothing good to say.

I always new there was negative recruiting but this year is crazy. What Iowa fan wouldn’t want talented recruits to join us? I certainly hope the transfers can see through this for what it is.

No offense but this is always our problem. And people do it all the time at this position. Brecht has been a part time player and most of the time either been injured or not on the field. So we have zero idea about him moving forward. Vines played 5-6 games and caught and caught 8 passes for 71 yards. That is it. Another guy we have zero idea about really. Ragaini has experience and caught 32 balls last year. Only receiver that has actually proven anything on the field. He's our only proven receiver and on most teams he's a 3-4 receiver. Teslaa of course we take him IF he wants to come. Looks really good at that level. Have zero idea whether it will translate to Big Ten play. Then we have our incoming Freshmen who none of them really had any big offers or put up big numbers in high school. We need 2 guys that we know can immediately step in and play next and actually contribute. Crazy, I know. If the Michigan guy comes we will have 2 guys that will immediately be our top 2 receivers in him and Lachey. But after that we need proven players.
