I love it. Saw some other guy on ESPN hating when he clearly hasn’t watched an Iowa game all year. Couldn’t catch his name. I remember everybody being worried about Davidson too and we know how that went.

Yeah when they say Iowa doesn’t play D it’s 100% certain they heard that somewhere at some point in the season and haven’t been paying attention..

Yesterday when ESPN was talking to Luka the one "panelist" asked Luka about Bohannons shoulder injuries that have bothered him. Obviously he was reading off of some card that an intern put together. It was hips, not shoulders dude.

When he failed to even mention Wieskamp I knew he had no clue what he was talking about. It’s just comical to me that everybody loved Iowa, they lose to arguably the best team in the country, and now all I hear is how sketchy Iowa is.

That was Laphonso Ellis. He knows his shit, I'm sure he just misspoke or read wrong and accidentally said shoulder instead of hip.

Anybody see the picks by Jay Bilas? Wonder if he has Oregon beating Iowa in the second round. He sure seemed to like Oregon yesterday without actually saying it. His language when talking about Iowa always seems negative to me.

The PAC 12 has been widely ignored by the east of the Rockies media and rightfully so. Oregon out here has been propped up as a potential Elite Eight team an rightfully so. I think they were seeded wrong. Team has some athletic talent that can shoot at guard and wing. Could be a bad matchup for Iowa. We need Garza to take over early and abuse the post. Open things up for the guards. Expect Oregon to come out shooting. I bet they hack the crap out of Garza on D to try and wear him down.

And the question about CJF being the best post passer? Luka tactfully mentions CMac and JayBo....

I'm still not sure if I'm picking Oregon or VCU, they have as many quality wins as Ore, and Kenpom has it a toss up. VCUs defense is significantly better than anyone Ore has played, save USC.

Why I'm not worried about Iowa's 2nd Rd or Sweet 16 opponent until the games are played. Oregon and Kansas have had their problems with consistency. We may never get the chance to play either. If we do expect close games. Both teams have the talent and position matchups that have given us fits against lesser B1G teams during conference play. Oregon can shoot and they have the athleticism and length at guard and wing to bottle our guards up. Kansas is a better more athletic Wisconsin when they're playing solid basketball. They have the ability to beat anyone and proved that against Baylor. But like I said both are anything but consistent and may never even advance to play Iowa.

This is the way I look at it: Iowa will by far be the best team Oregon has seen all year. Iowa has seen 6-7 teams better than Oregon, some multiple times. HEAVY advantage to Iowa.

Bilas had Iowa in elite 8. Izzy G is one of the many reasons I seldom watch ESPN.

Jiust watched the GCU/ NMstate game. Nebby would take GCU .They look really slow. Iowa would score more in the first half compared to their final score if we wanted to.. Not hype, they are reallly slow looking. Garza with 20+ in first half then sits most of second

I mean anything can happen but I watched It as well and I just don’t see how they’d even come close to hanging especially with how little we turn it over.

Its like watching Nebby without their good players. It would be very interesting to see GCU and ISU play each other

Oregon will put up 40 3's. Won't be able to play zone against them and win, they will torch it. Man to Man all the way and let the chips fall where they may.
Knowing how Altman coaches they will probably try to bait Garza into a charge to get him into foul trouble. It's the only way they can keep him from scoring, on the bench in foul trouble...
