Agreed, they need some 3-9 seasons. They have been spoiled and arrogant far too long.
How sweet it is to see nebby debby LOSE! Their message boards will be on system meltdown...AGAIN. 
He was a terrible hire. TERRIBLE. Is there a list of his career wins by season? Did I hear he's only had 9 wins once? What a stupid hire!!
I would have been pissed if he had been hired as Iowa's coach, I think he was a great hire for Nebraska
Nubby has a chance at only 2 more wins before Iowa (Purdue & Rutgers). I'm hoping they'll lose one of those, but it would still be nice to ruin their bowl hopes if they do happen to have 5 wins when we play them.
I couldn't believe this hire.. he has never been great. He's been mediocre to poor his entire career. His 3 NFL years were a dumpster fire. At Oregon State a few years he won 9 games, one year 10..but in those years he still never had a conference championship, BCS level bowl appearance or final ranking higher than 18! While at Oregon State he had a losing record (58-63) in conference.
So even if he equaled his best season, it still wouldn't be better than what Bo Pelini did year in and year out.

Does anyone know how to listen to a Nebraska Post Game call in show on line? That would be more fun than when my wife's best friend stayed all night!!!!!!!!!!!
They have to go 1-1 vs Iowa and sparty to make a bowl. But hey they are still an elite program I mean they had the 95' team at the game today which happened not too long ago. Coach Osborne will get them back on track looking sharp again in their apex jerseys...wait a minute it's been 20 years since and Osborne has been long and Mike F'ing Riley is coach now, never mind.

I hope to hell IF we win the National Championship is year we don't trot these guys out at a game 20 years from now, I saw some of that when ESPN came back from halftime and it looked pathetic. In all honesty I think it's better to have no championships than ones that occurred so long ago not even recruits remember them.
Err! Attend a game at Kinnick sir. Stay in your seat at halftime, especially during the homecoming game. It's great to honor some of the Hawkeye greats of yesterday. Also watch the lead-in to the National Anthem.
Just because there are a few bad apples in the bunch, don't disrespect them all.

I guess Lawrance Phillips couldn't get a furlough.

That little weasel Dirk Chatelain's column in the Omaha World Herald this morning is essentially a half-page homage to Peter. Glorifies how he never went to class and was always trying to avoid any reprisals. Mentions some of his "wild man" exploits, although the off-field ones not surprisingly didn't make it into the story. Poster Boy for Husker greatness. Disgusting.
Peter was a "wild man" and Sandusky just liked to "wrestle" with kids.

I almost feel bad for Riley here. Armstrong is a bad qb, but nobody wants to be the one to bench him for political reasons. It's like watching Hawkins trot out his son at QB at Colorado and then run the offense through him - everybody knows he sucks, and everybody knows that there's no way the coach is going to start anybody else. Even a mediocre qb has Nebraska with 1 loss right now or maybe unbeaten
