It's not easy to lose these games

Iowa gave the game to Wisconsin with boneheaded play and coaching, and did the same damn thing today @ PSU. If Iowa punts at the end of the half, no PSU FG. If Stanley doesn't throw the INT in the first half to set up the PSU TD. If Stanley could manage to toss the ball to the most wide open receiver in the history of football, it's an easy TD. And to cap it off, instead of calling timeout on first and goal from the three, Stanley wings it to Fant, who doesn't even know the ball was snapped, and it's another INT. WOW. WOW. WOW.

How in the world can Iowa keep beating itself like that? Heartbreaking, and then some....

But what a game by Mekhi Sargent. Fabulous performance. With an average game from Stanley and common sense from KF, he and his teammates would be headed back to Iowa City in the driver's seat for Indy. Instead, it's just one more season of coulda, shoulda, woulda. And I'm damn tired of it.

I agree. I don't mind losing when the other team was simply better or played better. That wasn't the case today.
Another bite of comfort food to the chatter of the Yogi Berra syndrome: "We would have won if you hadn't beaten us."
