Last night effectively ended any tournament hopes Iowa had. It's a shame. The tournament should be bare minimum expectations for Iowa. It's time for Beth to announce that Iowa is going in a different direction next year.

Anyone who thought this team , coached by a guy who no longer cares, made up of guys who can’t rebound or play defense, after watching them play in LA, could make the tournament, has to be the most optimistic (or delusional) person in the world.
I would venture to guess the people defending Fran on here don't watch the games. I discovered this truth during the Lick years when they'd say they had better things to do then to watch the games and they where so much better then you because of that. Oh and don't get them started on the losers in the game threads.
They don't care about the product because they aren't actually fans. When I say fans I'm referring to them being fanatical about the team which is where the word fan originates from. They believe the university propaganda about how great of guys the Iowa coaches are and how Iowa runs the absolutely cleanest program in the history of Universities. They allegedly think these things are really important to them but I don't buy it at all. They are just Iowa alumni they don't care about sports but jump on the sports bandwagon when it's convenient.
You're gonna feel pretty dumb when we win out.
Never had a chance all year. This roster wouldn't make an upper division finish in the MAC.
