Ittoqqortoormiit is a remote settlement in eastern Greenland, situated near the entrance to Scoresby Sound, one of the world’s largest fjord systems. It is one of the most isolated communities in Greenland, with a population of around 350 people. The climate is Arctic, with temperatures ranging from -22°F to 50°F (-30°C to 10°C), long, harsh winters, and limited daylight for much of the year. The settlement has minimal infrastructure, with no road connections to other towns and only a small airstrip for flights, which are infrequent and require a helicopter transfer from a nearby station. Internet access is limited, and there is no traditional cell service. Transportation primarily depends on boats in summer and dog sleds or snowmobiles in winter.

As a general rule of thumb, I will not live somewhere so miserable people have to paint their houses exciting colors for there to be excitement.

Prior to auto-fill feature in web-apps and mobile apps = HARD PASS

After auto-fill = No but I will wish the nice folks in Ittoqqortoormiit a Happy 4th of July once they become our fjord bitches.
Exodus 20:17 (MAGA version) You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's except for mineral wealth. Might maketh right, so sayeth the Lord.

No for me, although it is beautiful!
South Carolina may be the sweet spot for me related to weather.

I live in ankeny, which is a burb of DSM, 3.5 hours from the twin cities by car. It is not an outpost in the middle of nowhere Greenland, where you have fly to another country to do anything interesting.

LOL! You live in Ankeny. Put down those rocks in your glass house. Acting like you live in some exciting place. You're house colors are boring in Ankeny and it's boring. GTFO

You’re trying too hard to be an asshole - you can’t effectively pull it off. But assuming you are simply a moron, there is a difference between having internet and being able to drive a car to do something interesting and living on a remote corner of an arctic island.

I will add that I am pleased that I am developing a nemesis. This place is getting a little stale.

I'm not being an asshole. Quit being so sensitive. I'm asking why you think Ankeny, IA is head and shoulders above the OP as an "exciting place". They're both boring. Nobody is coming to Ankeny either.

Add reading comprehension to your shortcomings.

If you’re going for asshole troll, at least be funny.

No asshole troll on here is funny.

Do you know what's funny and what's not because you live in exciting Ankeny? Probably better than those Greenland folks do anyways

Who cares how close to the twin cities. More ok importantly how close to Iowa city

I think we found Trump's St. Helena. Might have to pack extra orange tanner for the winter.
