On March 25, it was announced that Indiana sophomore guard Stanford Robinson will transfer to another school in hopes of finding more playing time.

On March 27, Indiana announced freshman 6-8 forward Max Hoetzel is transferring.

Who will be creaned next to make room for this guy?

From ESPN.com:

Indiana has landed a commitment from Thomas Bryant, one of the top unsigned players remaining in the 2015 class.

Bryant, who announced his decision at the Dick's High School Nationals event on ESPN, is ranked No. 22 in the ESPN 100. He chose the Hoosiers over Syracuse, Missouri and Kentucky.

The 6-foot-10 Bryant helped lead Huntington Prep to the semifinals of the Dick's Nationals event, scoring 27 points and grabbing 19 rebounds in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

Bryant will be the highlight of an Indiana class that also includes four-star forward Ogugua Anunoby. He should come in and make an immediate impact inside, as the Hoosiers were extremely perimeter-oriented this past season.

Tom Crean's program also continues to pursue Thon Maker, who recently made clear his plans to potentially reclassify to 2015.

Crean will face the same path as Rick Barnes, eventually fire for incompetent coaching.

Too bad he can't coach. Even if he has two lottery players on his team he still won't make it out of the sweet 16.

Won't even get to the Sweet 16.

It's kind of fun reading the PEEGS board. In the fall, kill Crean. Then they win a couple games, Love Crean. Then the team falls apart at the end of the year, kill Crean. Now Bryant commits, love Crean. (Well, not so much this time)

I agree with the other poster. I watched Bryant in the McDonald's All American game and in the Dick's Sporting Good's Tournament. My impression is he is very much like Hammonds of Purdue. A bit of a stiff, not a huge leaper, but pretty strong and a natural scorer.

Crean will likely cost the kid years of development.

Bottom line, IU will need to crean one player to make room for this kid.

Any idea who it will be?

Note, too, that Crean is going after another player and if he gets him, AN ADDITIONAL player will need to be creaned.

Incredible.

Aren't parents paying attention and if they are, why on earth send your child to IU???

On Peegs they are predicting that if no one declares for the pros that this April kid, big kid barely played, will suddenly decide he wants to transfer to find playing time somewhere else.

There is another kid, Priller, that would probably be choice number two.

An interesting possibility is Nick Zeisloft. He's graduating but has a year of eligibility. For some reason some fans on Peegs think he could witch to a walkon in the name of the team.

well, Crean will have to force at least one person's hand, which would mean 3 players leaving over the last couple weeks in order to get to the maximum 13 scholarship players.

You probably know this but students who have graduated even if they have a year of eligibility left have to take post graduate classes in order to play. As a walk on that would mean Zeisloft would have to pay his own tuition. Could happen but I would doubt it when if he is a good enough player he might get a scholarship elsewhere and could play right away.
