DEFENSE: JACK CAMPBELL – The Iowa
linebacker continues to be one of the best players on the Iowa defense each week. This week he lead Iowa with 11 tackles. He was also credited with a forced fumble on the goal line and he had one tackle for loss. It feels like Campbell was all over the field on defense making plays from sideline to sideline.
Definitely, making plays sideline to sideline was the expectation for this guy in 2021.
Iowa is really solid at staring linebacker, and Jestin Jacobs should be included. Be shocked that Campbell isn't the top LB in Big Ten, ultimately the nation.
Iowa faced two good LBs in Week 1 and Week 2, but thankfully, Jack is a Hawkeye. Wouldn't trade him for either of those two players.
