He, along with Butch, definitely built a fantastic program. Lurch was a fantastic coach and had a very good offensive mind. Glad to see the 2nd WB kid make it to the NFL. Awesome!

I was wondering this too.

In all the attendant media coverage with Zach Johnson's Open win I came across an article that reminded me of Dave. The British writer referred to Zach's swing as being ungainly (?). The last and only other swing I ever heard described as ungainly was Dave Rummells' by Ben Wright. Lol.

In Dave's case I thought it rather apt. His swing seemed rather unwieldy, like he struggled to control it. Of course the results spoke differently, he was a pretty solid tour player for many years. Never won, but made a couple good runs at the PGA.
