I see he's ranked as a freshman. Wasn't Wilcke the better recruit out of HS?

Even after two state championships Holschlag was still pretty raw in high school. He's learned a ton the last couple years and I believe he has a really high ceiling. Very happy to see him qualify for the tournament. If he can get a W at some point that's a GREAT stepping stone. I believe he's a more natural 84 pounder but bumped up to 97 to fill the roster spot...don't quote me on that. He and his high school teammate (Max Thomsen) both qualified as freshman. Pretty impressive feat for both young men.

He might even be more of a 174 pounder. That's where he wrestled all of last season.

I like what Holschlag has done this year, I think he can make a backside run in this weak weight.
